Community Standards: The Playbook

1. The Spirit of the Game (Core Values)

We believe sports have the power to unite. Whether you are celebrating a last-minute goal or debating a controversial referee call, keep the "Spirit of the Game" in mind:

• Respect the Rivalry: Support your team with passion, but respect the opposition. Rivalries make sports great; hate speech ruins them.
• Play Fair: No cheating, spamming, or manipulating app features (like polls or fantasy leagues) to gain an unfair advantage.

2. Standard Rules of Conduct

To keep the stadium safe for everyone, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Hate Speech & Discrimination: We have zero tolerance for attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Harassment & Bullying: Do not target individuals (players, coaches, or other fans) with persistent insults, threats, or "doxing" (sharing private information).
• Violence & Graphic Content: Do not post images or videos of real-world violence, excessive gore, or illegal activities.
• Spam & Scams: No "get rich quick" betting schemes, repetitive promotional links, or impersonating official team accounts or athletes.

3. Sportsmanship in Debate

Disagreements about stats, trades, and performance are encouraged, but keep it professional:

• Critique the Play, Not the Person: Disagreeing with a coach's strategy is fine; attacking their family or personal life is not.
• No "Trolling": Intentionally baiting other fanbases with the sole purpose of starting a fight (flame-warring) may result in a temporary "time-out."

4. Safety & Privacy

• Protect Minors: Many of our fans are young athletes. Any behavior that puts minors at risk will result in an immediate permanent ban and, where necessary, a report to law enforcement.
• Account Integrity: Use your own account. Selling, trading, or sharing accounts is prohibited.

5. Enforcement: The Penalty Box

Violations of these standards will be met with a "Yellow Card" or "Red Card" system:

• Yellow Card (Warning): For minor first-time offenses. Your content may be removed, and your account restricted for 24 hours.
• Red Card (Suspension/Ban): For severe violations (hate speech, threats) or repeated offenses. This can lead to a permanent ban from the app and all associated services.

6. Gambling & Real-Money Gaming Prohibited

LeagueBook is strictly a sports information, social, and entertainment platform. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward gambling.

1. Restriction of Services

Our platform does not facilitate, encourage, or provide the infrastructure for:

• Real-money wagering or sports betting.
• Online casinos or games of chance involving monetary stakes.
• The exchange of virtual assets for real-world currency or "street value."

2. User Conduct & Data Monitoring

To ensure a safe environment, we reserve the right to monitor public forums, chat groups, and user-generated content within LeagueBook for any activity that solicits or promotes illegal gambling.

• Data Usage: We may process metadata and user reports to identify and ban accounts engaging in betting activities.
• Enforcement: Any user found organizing betting pools or promoting external gambling links will face permanent account suspension without prior notice.

3. Compliance with Local Laws

We cooperate with law enforcement agencies if any illegal gambling activities are suspected to have originated on our platform.

7. Prohibited Behaviors (The Red Lines)

• Abuse vs. Rivalry: Healthy rivalry and light trash talk are part of the game. However, personal attacks, hate speech (racism, sexism, homophobia), and threats of physical violence are grounds for an immediate permanent ban.
• Privacy: Never share a player's private location, phone number, or family details.
• Misinformation: Do not spread "fake news" about injuries, contract leaks, or rigged games. This undermines the integrity of the community.
• Spam & Betting Scams: No unsolicited promotional links, "guaranteed" betting tips, or "get rich quick" schemes.
